概要: The supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2) for the impregnation and deposition of metal nanoparticles are effective for uniformly decorating and impregnating porous materials. In this work, Cu-Ru bimetallic nanoparticles were successfully immobilized in the mesopores of hierarchical porous SiO2 by using scCO2-acetone solution. STEM-EDX mapping measurements demonstrated that Cu and Ru atoms were homogeneously scattered in mesopores of hierarchical porous SiO2. The resulting Cu-Ru@SiO2 exhibited high activity. The catalytic activity of bimetallic Cu-Ru@SiO2 for CO oxidation was higher than that of monometallic Cu@SiO2, Ru@SiO2 and Rh@SiO2. 続きを見る

概要: A laser 2-focus velocimeter (L2F) was used for measurements of velocity and size of droplets inside diesel sprays intermittently injected into the atmosphere by using 8-hole injector nozzle. The diameter of the nozzle orifice was 0.125mm. The rail pressure was set at 60 MPa, and the injection quantity was set at 4mm3/injection. Measurement plane was located at 10 mm downstream from the nozzle exit. The spray image was taken by the high-speed camera, and the spray width was evaluated by using spray image. The spray width was large at the early period of injection duration. The size of droplets was small at the time when the spray width was large. It became clear that there was a negative correlation between the spray width and the size of droplets. 続きを見る

概要: This paper reports the design and its analysis of various filters used for signal separation for the induction machine drive system with high frequency voltage signal injection. The designed filters are notch filter in addition to 1st, 2nd, and 4th order low-pass filters. For the analysis method, the simulation is carried out by constructing an indirect type vector control system. Also, the stability analysis is carried out for the current controller with the filter. As the results, it is clarified that the fundamental component and the high frequency amplitude can be accurately extracted by using notch filter as compared with other low-pass filters. 続きを見る

This application utilizes open data such as sediment disaster danger areas, tsunami / river flood-assumed areas, and evacuation centres. 概要: This manuscript builds an HMD-based virtual screen system with the capability of adjustable viewing distance and conducts an experiment on a relation between viewing distance to the virtual screen upon Kraepelin-task performance. The Kraepelin-task is a calculation task of addition of a one-digit number to another for a definite period of time and subjects are asked to answer it as many and correctly as possible. The result implies that longer viewing distance would decrease wrong answers and improve accuracy of calculation, and it also implies that longer viewing distance would alleviate an amount of increase of physiological fatigue added during the calculation and make physical fatigue less severe except on eyes. 続きを見る

概要: We proposed the new digital filter algorithm for reduced noise of electrocardiogram (ECG) derived from the head. The proposed algorithm is based on the estimation technique of noise from one beat of ECG during exercise. The estimated noise is updated by 50% of noise derived from the latest beat and 50% of the noise derived from accumulated beat. The updated noise is devoted to ECG for detection of R-peak in next beat. In 3 healthy male participants, stationary state and 40, 50 W loads exercise using cycle ergometer for 30 seconds was performed, respectively. The results indicate that noise of ECG derived from head is decreased. In conclusion, these findings suggested that the proposed adaptive filter might be practical signal processing for reduced noise of ECG derived from head. 続きを見る

概要: In the middle of the Kuma River, which runs through the southern part of Kumamoto Prefecture, deer damage has been notice- able in recent years. This time, among them, the Sakamoto district in Yatsushiro City (formerly Sakamoto Village) was damaged, to confirm the fact with visiting the same district. As a result, it is expected that sediment production will increase, so flood risk will increase in the near future. Immediately, it is necessary comprehensive measures including engineering are considered. 概要: There are many river crossing structures not only in developed countries but also developing countries because of irrigated agriculture. On the other hand, the number of fishways for river ecosystem conservation is not good enough in many countries, and tentative fishways, such as siphon system pipe-type fishways, will play an important role in these countries. When tentative fishways are installed in rivers, of course, fishway technologies are important for their good works, however, regional inhabitant conditions around the weirs are also the critical situation in order to operate these fishways effectively. 概要: Orono-Island is a remote island in the Sea of Genkai. The author conducted an environmental survey of Orono- Island.The research was ecology investigations for wild birds and endangered plant species. The studies developed from these research lead to some unknown history of Orono-Island. It was relationship between Kuroda domain and Orono-Island. The second conclusion is that Onogoro-Island was Orono-Island. Onogoro-Island was the first land created by the creation gods which first appeared in Japanese mythology. Because the birou(Livistona chinensis) used by the ancient emperor for the ritual were on Orono-Island. It was thought to be related to solar rituals and the distribution of native birou (Livistona chinensis) around Kyushu-Island. In addition, The place name and shrine of Kyushu Island which comes out in the myth were also related to Orono-Island. Further, conclusions of first one and second one must were correlated. Kuroda Narikiyo visited Orono-Island because he thought that Orono-Island was Onogoro-Island of the Japanese myth, and so he wanted brought back a characteristic plant. 続きを見る

概要: This paper considers how the “inquiry learning process” can be accumulated. This study compared elementary school and ju nior high school by text mining the teaching plan of “the Period for Integrated Studies”. The analysis methods are cooccurrence network analysis and correspondence analysis.
